Some of the instruction to be remembered while using our iron:-
- Set fabric dial at the desired fabric marking.
- Make sure the voltage indicated on the iron meets your local voltage. Allow iron to heat for 2 minutes on heel rest before ironing.
- The pilot lamp glows when the iron is switched on, and goes off when the iron is heated up to the temperature selected by the fabric dial. The lamp will remain off as long as the iron keeps the selected temperature and as the temperature decreases, the thermostat will start working and the lamp will glow again. The thermostat makes the pilot adjust automatically to the varying temperature as being selected by the fabric dial.
- First iron chemical synthetic fabric at low temperature, and then, as the temperature rises, iron wool, cotton and linen accordingly. The iron heats more quickly than it cools.
- Allow time for the iron to heat when changing from a low temperature to a high one. Conversely, wait a while when changing to cooler setting.
Instruction For Use :
- Insert the plug of your SEEMA Auto Electric Iron into a three pin socket and switch on.
- During the entire sequence of ironing the pilot lamp goes on and off at regular intervals. This indicates that the sensitive thermostat built into the iron is regulating the temperature function of the iron.
- Always iron fabrics requiring low temperature first, such as Nylon, Rayon, Silk etc. and then go on to fabrics requiring high temperature such as Cotton, Woolen etc.
- Do not use sharp edges items like scissor, knife etc. on the sole plate to avoid.scratches.
- For steam ironing ensure that the water tank is full. Do not use boring water. Always use tap water or boiled water.
- Do not iron on soapy or wet cloth. Let the iron cool before replacing.
Maintenance :
- Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on. In case of any damage occuring in the appliance, refrain from using it.
- Never immerse the appliance or any part of it in water or any other liquid.
- Always allow the appliance to cool before storing it.
- To clean the appliance use a soft cloth ,damp or dry and wipe gently.
- Never use any harsh or abrasive cleaning agents.
Terms & Conditions
- All SEEMA appliances are fully guaranteed against any manufacturing defects for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
- This guarantee however does not cover breakage or damage of bakelite / ASS Handles, indicator lamp, supply cord, plate chipping or peeling of Teflon coating.
- Further damages due to misuse, accident or negligence on the part of the customers are also not covered.
- The company's responsibilities under this guarantee will be to either repair the defective appliances or replace the same at our option free of charge.
- Defective appliances should be delivered at your cost to our nearest service station along with guarantee card.
